One of the best PowerShell Texts in my library.

I purchased this book mainly for its tie-ins to the Sapien Studio, a suite I use at work. However, it has become my most bookmarked text, and almost all those bookmarks have nothing to do with the Sapien Suite but are "ah ha" bits of information that had eluded me in countless other manuals. If you use Sapien, you MUST get this book. If you use any other IDE for PowerShell and you skip because of that, you're doing yourself a disservice. This is an excellent PowerShell Text that has ties to an IDE. Not the other way around.

About the Author
"Michael Lyman" is a member of the faculty of the Criminal Justice and Social Work Department at Columbia College, Columbia, Missouri. In addition to being a teaching faculty member, he serves the Department as the Director or Graduate Studies for the Master of Science in Criminal Justice and advisor of the Forensic Science Program. Prior to entering the field of college teaching, he was employed as a Special Agent for the Intelligence and Organized Crime Division (IOCD) of the Kansas Bureau of Investigation and later as a Senior Intelligence Agent for the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs. Dr. Lyman has authored several textbooks in criminal justice dealing with the areas of criminal investigation, policing, organized crime, and drug abuse. He received both his bachelor's and master's degrees from Wichita State University and his Ph.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Compelling Romance

This book was thoroughly enjoyable. I wasn't sure I could sympathize with a character who is thinking about cheating on her husband, but I found I really could. Olivia is a flawed but relatable heroine. David is hot and hunky. The sparks between the two characters make the story very compelling. The book is also populated with some well-drawn secondary characters whom I look forward to reading more about.

I wouldn't really call it a cliffhanger ending. We know going into this that it is the first part in a series, so given that, I was satisfied with the ending. I mean, the initial attraction between Liv and David was the beginning of the story. And that did get resolved in the end. Although naturally you'll feel compelled to read the second book to see what else happens.

Overall, good book! Give it a read.

Picked this to pass the time, but

Omg it turned out to be such a good book. I got this book on net galley because I needed something to read and it seemed interesting enough. Married women falls for another guy... Ok. What I didn't expect is to stay up late reading the book because I couldn't wait to find out who Liv would pick.... Her husband and her 'safe bet' or David who is the guy she can't get out ofher head after just one glance. It ends up turning into so much more when David ends up showing up in all aspects of her life. I cannot wait for the next book since this one ends with such a cliffhanger. What happens?? Who does she end up with??

Come Undone

Come Undone is a complex engrossing book. It is a little slow to start, but it picks up and captivates you until the end. Olivia is a wonderfully flawed character who has hidden depth and strengths that we only begin to get a small glimpse of in this book, and I want more. David is a charismatic bad boy that always seems to always get what he wants. He sees into the secret places in Olivia that she wants to keep hidden. These two have explosive chemistry. If only they would have met before Olivia married her devoted husband Bill. He is loving and patient and he adores his wife. At times, though, there seems to be a disconnect between them. I wasn't sure that I would enjoy this book about a woman who is struggling with fidelity, but I feel that the author handles it with care. Let's face it, unfortunately, it happens more than we would care to admit. The supporting characters are well written and defined as well. There is love, lust , deception, and danger in this story. I can't wait to see what happens in the next book.
