Unable to freely practice his basic rights in Sudan, he worked in the Middle East and later in the horn of Africa. He has been residing in the United States since 2002. People are exposed by the arrogance and mendacity of governments on a daily basis but just lie on the ropes and take it.
At least if it all goes pear shaped I am aware of what is going on which is more than I can say for the mass majority of humans on this planet.
These books are sensational....A must read.

..but wait, isn't Icke insane??

An interesting read although in a number of very real ways, I wish I hadn't read this book. Not least because it's put me off eating or drinking anything with Aspartame in it. Do I rot my teeth on Coke Classic or my brain on Diet Coke? (I could drink Diet Rite or something but that's going to extremes).

Alice in Wonderland and the World Trade Center Disaster contains a comprehensive look at the background to many of the major players allegedly involved in 9/11 and their connection/ involvement with the Illuminati, the global cabal said to control the world. Many claims are made by Icke, more often than not backed up by a slew of data and other information published at the end of each chapter.

Certain ideas of Icke's I can agree with. Something's rotten in the White House when it comes to the official 9/11 story we're asked to swallow. I'm not sure about the whole child abuse thing he peddles with regards to the Bush Family and friends, though. However, if only one claim by Icke is true, then there are some serious questions to be asked.

Even if you've seen and memorized the entire movie, you probably won't be able to fight your way through The Phantom Menace PC game without breaking a sweat. This is a fairly challenging game and one that can be quite frustrating in some areas. To help minimize your frustration, Prima's strategy guide for The Phantom Menace offers a complete, well-illustrated walkthrough for each of the game's 11 sections. Additionally, the book provides a quick rundown of every character in the game, along with a brief description of the many weapons and objects you'll encounter. The walkthroughs are fairly easy to follow, thanks in large part to the plentiful screenshots that illustrate important events and locations. Also, the book calls out secret areas as you encounter them in the walkthrough, so you won't miss any hidden goodies in your travels. However, this strategy guide is a little thin in some areas. There are no cheat codes included, and the book sometimes provides skimpy advice with no explanation. (For example, at one point you read that you should not let Queen Amidala trail too far behind you, but you are not told what will happen if you do.) Still, it's a good resource for making your way through a difficult game. If you're battling your way through The Phantom Menace and are running into obstacles that you can't quite overcome, this book can certainly help. Must buy...best starategy book for this game

This is one of the most best strategy guides for my game. I got stuck on Level 2, and now with this guide I'm on level 9. Why, it even tells you what dialogue options to say! And finally, it reaveals a way to get rid of those pesky destroyer droids! No nook, no cranny, is left untouched in this book. A MUST BUY.....

Neccesary to finish the game.

I couldn't even finish the first level until I bought this book! Now, five days later, I'm on level nine. This book includes helpful maps and tells where all the secret areas are. I just wish it included some cheat codes.

Incomplete, incorrect, and superficial introduction to the subject

The book contains very basic, egregious mistakes. For example, in one place the author writes "Homonyms are words that sound alike. For instance, the words cat, bat, sat and fat sound alike." No! Homonyms are, in short, words that are pronounced exactly the same but have different meanings. Those words listed as examples may rhyme, and those words may sound confusing to speech-recognition systems, but those words are most definitely not homonyms!

So perhaps this glaring mistake can be ignored because this is a book about neural networks and not one about grammar? Perhaps... but if the author can't be bothered to properly research the definitions of basic terminology, would you trust him to properly research more advanced concepts?

If you said "no," you are probably right. As just one example, later in the book the author goes on to claim "Hopfield networks are capable of solving mathematical problems deemed impossible for a computer to solve, like the travelling salesman problem." No! First of all, the travelling salesman problem is an example of an NP-hard problem, which means that it takes a long, long time for computers to solve problems like these, not that it is impossible to do so. Second of all, anything possible with Hopfield networks is of course possible on computers, since Hopfield networks run on computers. The author probably meant "rule-based systems" instead of "computers," but still, sloppy use of language. Finally, that sentence is outright incorrect, because if Hopfield networks are indeed able to offer optimal solutions to the travelling salesman problem in less than exponential time, then P = NP would effectively be proved, and thus far that famous problem is still unsolved. Instead, Hopfield networks are merely capable of offering solutions that are pretty darn good, but not the best. Big difference. Look at how careless the author simply had to be in order to make such ludicrous mistakes in a statement like that. Do you really think you can trust this guy on anything he says?

Not only is the book riddled with mistakes, both big and small, but it hardly comes close to the claim that it is a "comprehensive introduction" to neural networks. The book has only talked about feed-forward networks, and showed examples only of artificial neurons modeled with step functions. Nothing at all about slightly more realistic neuron models like leaky fire-and-integrate, which can be gleaned from just a cursory reading of Wikipedia. Nor was anything mentioned about recurrent neural networks. If I didn't already know they existed before reading this book, I would have no idea to even explore them if I wanted to do further reading on my own.

In short, avoid this book. If you know anything about neural networks, this book won't really teach you anything more than spending a few minutes browsing through some Wikipedia articles on the topic. If you don't know much about neural networks or computer science in general, stay away because this book will corrupt your understanding of it.

Disappointing

I have to agree with the reviewer Bob Jones. I also have to confess, I purchased the book even after reading his one-star review. I am an electronics hobbyist and I was intrigued at the prospect of building a neural network from hardware components rather than programming one. If that is your desire, this book will disappoint. The author demonstrates an op amp servo controller and calls it a neuron. It has no feedback loop to enable training. You simply manually adjust the variable resistors to produce the desired output. Other projects in the book are just simple hardware kits like you might buy at Radio Shack. For one of the projects the author even admits that he does not know if the chip uses a hardware implemented neural network or not. He says that, from the description of the chip, "it sounds neural to me"! Really??? His programming examples are in QBasic - not a programming language you probably use, or want to learn to use. Bottom line, the book is superficial, riddled with errors, and unsatisfying from either a software or hardware point of view.

Misspellings, missing words,poor grammar, and poor descriptions riddle this book, only 166 pages. Obvious self promotion and too much focus on hardware projects rather than algorithms inflate this "book". The relevant content could be done in a 10-page paper.
